RIT Foundation has made a significant impact and presence in Skill Development aimed specifically at Women’s upliftment, welfare, and overall progress in rural areas. To achieve this our teams have reached out to the numerous Villages and Districts in Kanpur, namely, Village Chhingapur(District Jaunpur), Village Karvi (District Chitrkut Dham), Village Meharban Singh Ka Purwa (District Kanpur), U.P. In MP, we had worked in rural areas of Seoni and Narsinghpur districts. We have also worked in Jabalpur and Gwalior under various govt and non – govt projects.

Here our teams work closely with women of all ages and provide them with counselling to make them understand the benefits of Skill based training and how this can transform their lives and make them financially independent. Our regular programs for skill-based trainings cover courses like Beautician, Sewing and knitting, Medical Emergency and First Aid, Health and Sanitation with focus on personal hygiene. The basic ideology behind imparting such trainings is to make the people self-sufficient and financially independent

Besides the above, RIT Foundation has also run RDI (Rural DevelopmentInitiative) program in Chamoli district in association with Himalayan Institute – Dehradun where in the villagers are imparted training in Bee Keeping, Food Preservation, Mushroom Farming, Health and Sanitation. In addition to the above RDI program also runs and provides Helicopter and Ambulance service providing emergency services and evacuation
