RIT Vimarsh (the Academic Wing)

RIT Vimarsh is the academic wing of RIT Foundation. In addition, RIT Vimarsh also organizes annual event Nari-Vimarsh, on the empowerment of
women.

Currently, RIT Vimarsh is in the process of founding the Pandit Shambhoo Ratna Tripathi Shodh Sansthan (Research Centre) which aims at a new
perspective which tries to search for an alternative to the self-destructive nature of modernity on the one hand and a way forward from the fragmentation and pastiche of post-modernity on the other. This also includes a fledgling publication wing.

Rit organizes the RIT Vimarsh conferences, inter alia. Few of them are:

  • October 4, 2013 – Symposium on Juvenile Justice and Capital Punishment at India International Center New Delhi. The opening remarks on the
    subject made by Sh. Purushottam Reddy, Retd Judge and Chairperson of the Andhra Pradesh Human Rights Commission. Chief guest Dr.
    Subramanian Swamy discussed the context in which the current Act was drafted, and the problems involved with it, keeping in view the societal background.
  • March 9th, 2014 Rit Foundation organized ‘Nari Vimarsh’, an event to commemorate the International Women’s Day. At India International
    CentreThis event was to discuss the numerous issues revolving quo status of the feminist movement and the status of women’s rights in India,
    Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal and other South Asian nations by those who have been closely associated with the movement. The Guests for the conclave were: Ms. Barkha Singh (MLA, Chairperson Delhi women commission, social activist, Mr. Amod Kanth ,General Secretary, Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre (JAC) Madhubala Nath, Dr. Alka Raghuvanshi Art Curator, Dr. Malini Srivastava(Assitt Prof, Dept of Psychology)HIHT University, Jolly Grant Dehradun), Mr. Sabu M. Goerge, Priya HingoraniLawyer Supreme court,, Vimla Mehra IG Prison, Tihar , Dr. Asha L. Pandey, Sanskritist, Dr Pro Pawan Mishra (UPTECH), Roma Debabrat President of the STOP, Sudarshan Pathak Dy.     Social Welfare Board, Mrs Gyan Sudha Mishra (Sitting Judge Supreme Court of India).
  • September 24-27, 2015, conference on Post-Modernity and Alternate Paradigms was organised at Crowne Plaza Delhi to understand the course
    of post-modernity in the present scenario of the country and the implementation of alternate paradigms. Delegates from Sri Lanka, Israel, Bangladesh, Australia, South & North America participated in event.
  • October 9th-12th, 2016 International Conference on Gender and Violence was organised at Crowne Plaza, Okhala, Delhi. It focused on exploring the various facets of Gender and Violence that have emerged or are being studied.
  • October 14th-17th, 2017 International conference on Violence and Humanity was organised at India International Centre, Delhi. The chief
    guest for the Vimarsh was Mr. Tarun Vijay, the gathering was addressed by the High Commissioner Bangladesh Embassy Mr. Syed Muazzem Ali. Eminent lawyers like Ms. Monica Tyagi and other dignitaries made the discussion lively and involving. The two days event was a huge success.
  • February 2nd ,2018 Rit organised a workshop guide the parents ofdifferently abled children as how they can build a good future for their kids. Rit Foundation proudly announced the introduction of new “Series of Workshop” to deliver best to the differently-able children and to those who are special. Rit Foundation organisd workshops on Rehabilitation of Special Children on 22nd February,26th March and 20th April at different venues in Delhi that aimed at guiding children who are differently children as how they can build a good future.
  • August 24th, 2020, a year of pandemic was chosen for a conference on “Impact of epics on collective conscious of Indians”. Unfortunately, we couldn’t do it physically, but it was organised virtually and attended by our regular patrons.
